This is the last episode of the “basic training” series designed to prepare listeners for special relational conversations and mapping in future episodes.

Host Cyndy Bartelli introduces Episode 8 of Relationship Reality about God’s miraculous heart healing for people wounded by disappointment, abuse, rejection, and fear, sharing stories of abused women in Mexico and a young woman who survived multiple suicide attempts and found God’s love. She explains this final “basic training” episode in her relationship trifecta—personality (God’s design), learned behavior, and heart wounds—and describes how misunderstanding emotional needs, based on personality, can lead to deep heartbreak, using her mother’s nervous breakdowns as an example. Cyndy shares her own healing after prayer revealed a childhood trauma around not being able to say goodbye to her hospitalized mother, and cites scriptures about God healing the brokenhearted. Scriptures specifically referred to here: 2 Kings 20:5, Psalms 34:18, and Isaiah 57:15.
